If you have a question about a particular problem or experiment in a book,
you can construct a keyword that is unique for that problem or experiment.
This can really speed up your search. To make the keyword, follow these
directions:
1. Start with the abbreviation for the book. The abbreviations are:
ECGS - General Science
ECPS - Physical Science
ECB - Biology
ECC - Chemistry
ECP - Physics
AVB - The human Body (advanced biology)
ACC - Advanced Chemistry
APC - Advanced Physics
2. Put in the Module number in two digit format. In other words, module 1 is
01, while module 10 is 10.
3. Put in the abbreviation for the type of exercise
OYO - On your own
RQ - Review Questions
PP - Practice Problem
SG - Study Guide
TS - Test
EX - Experiment
4. Put in the number. For on your own problems, put in the entire number
(such as 1.2 or 10.8). For experiments, put in the entire number (such as
1.2 or 16.1).
For example, if you are taking biology and have a question about Module 10
"on your own" question 10.2, the keyword is ECB10OYO10.2
If you are taking chemistry and need help with Experiment 4.2 in Module 4,
the keyword is ECC04EX4.2.
If you are taking physics and you need help with practice problem 5 in
Module 8, the keyword is ECP08PP05.
If you are taking physical science and cannot understand problem 15 in the
Module 11 study guide, the keyword is ECPS11SG15.
